I've seen several reviews complaining about this device not shutting down properly, but I decided to take a chance in the hopes that the complaints related to rare defective valves. Well, if that was the reason, then I got a defective one too. As I prepared to fill 24 very large and expensive deep cycle batteries, I decided to play it safe and test the filling function on a different container first. Of course, I was pleased about that because it was constantly overflowing the test tank and if it had been my batteries it would have given me many hours of grief and made a dangerous mess. I do not recommend using this filler. I trust my big "Buster" battery more.
