I spent countless nights in a military bunk during my military career. This crib is constructed the same way but with much lighter materials. I only bought it to transport horses/mules. It weighs exactly 15 pounds, while a military bed weighs almost 25. I set it up carefully, trying not to handle it roughly. I'm 180lbs and not sure I would trust it to someone over 200lbs even though it's rated at 260lbs. It sleeps no differently than a standard military bed and follows the same path. I give it three stars because of the lack of durability. Only used a few times and so far so good.
