Review on πŸ› Houzer PTG-4300 WH Single Bowl Kitchen Sink, 33", White - Fireclay Apron-Front Design by John Boyce

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Beautiful, fragile and dirty

We loved our Houzer sink when we installed it. This is a very inexpensive farmhouse sink and looks beautiful. But after installation, we immediately noticed that the floor has almost no slope, so all the leftovers of food, coffee grounds, etc. remain on the entire floor of the sink. Then about 5 months after taking possession of it, we hit the front too hard, presumably walked past a ceramic pot, and a massive chunk broke off the front of the sink. With a bit of epoxy we were able to restore most of the missing ceramic parts but it was still clearly broken and repaired. A metal mesh, always at the bottom of the sink, all over the floor, front to back, has formed a microcrack that goes right through the drain hole. We are now trying to recoat it with Rustoleum Tub & Tile. paint, hopefully we can use them for a few more years.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything
