This product is ideal for mini LP cases. The marketing suggests it's 4.7m thick... I'll take my word for it as I don't have a micrometer handy to check. But I will say it's significantly thicker than the one-off sleeves that come with some CDs - once you open it, forget it...trying to reuse it will chip it. However, as they say, this product can benefit from being 6-10m thick. I still had to use it carefully to put my mini LPs back in... so definitely don't throw it away, but not so thick that you use it don't have to worry. The tape is sticky enough to keep the cover closed, but loses its grip after a few opening/closing processes. But hopefully by then the crease that forms on the top as it closes is enough to keep it closed on the shelf. It doesn't look like the material allows moisture to get inside...which is a good thing. CONCLUSION: I give this product an 8/10. Before I buy more, I'll see if I can find other cases with thicker plastic. Otherwise a new order will be placed. Can I find other cases with thicker plastic?
