Required to install a Pioneer in a 2005 Chevy Classic. The OEM wiring harness does not match the description on the wiring harness packaging. As I hooked in bunch of cables after bunch of wires, there was no power. To be fair the wiring harness came with an extra red wire and I ended up routing it from the red wire on the wiring harness to the passenger side fuse box where I routed it through the sunroof circuit using a water tap which is key. to plan. Now the stereo works fine (I also ran a separate ground wire that also attaches to the wiring harness and to the big screw just below the passenger side fuse box) but when I turn the ignition off the stereo turns off which saves memory. It's annoying not being able to play the radio when the car isn't idling so I'll keep researching and updating if I can fix that. The actual wire from the harness isn't as thick as the one from the OEM side, which I think is quite common with aftermarket harnesses and I'm wondering why. The plug fits the car perfectly, delivery was fast, overall I'm happy with the purchase, it's just that I have a strange car.
