*ATTENTION! This is a built-in jar with LEDs. It is advertised as 'IC' (Insulating Contact) but I have to believe this is ONLY true if you are using the new LED recessed 'modules' (which are shown on the page). Attempting to use some sort of adapter to plug a heating lamp into this jar when the jar is surrounded by ceiling insulation I find very dangerous. A real (old, regular) "IC" rated junction box has an external heat shield that prevents excess heat from igniting; These banks are not. Banks were easy to install for the most part. I would agree with others; You MUST remove the mounting clips to insert the glass into the hole; It's a lot easier if you cut a precise hole (4 1/4" diameter). On some cans the clips snapped easily; on others I had to struggle with clips to snap. I think the metal clip would be better with one slightly more flexible metal, it's very stiff. Not a big deal, just a bit of a pain. ; black, white, ground) "Clip-In" adapters that allow you to easily plug striped wire in. Each clip has two open points so you can "attach" the next light in the row. Very pretty; plug n play. It also has a new modular connector for connecting LED blocks.
