The problem with this pan is that it doesn't have a gripping area - it has very low, flat sides and is good for the microwave, but trying to get it out of the microwave to get food out of it is difficult , and you can easily burn. I had to use silicone gloves to make an easy scrambled egg! It handled the egg well (I like it when it's too hard - so it took about a minute and a half on one side and 30 seconds on the other), but it was impossible to get the pan out - so I had to maneuver the egg onto the pan in the microwave and then onto a plate without burning your hand or arm - a silicone glove (which goes up to my forearm) works, but both of them are for safety and aren't cheap. Some sort of silicone grip on the side would make a lot more sense and be safer.
