Review on BTMETER Multimeter Capacitance Thermocouple Automotive by Mark Sharma

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good meter. Instructions can be improved

This is NOT a typical department store multimeter. It's a much more advanced option with more features, some of which I'll probably never use (but that's beside the point). The meter has a nice, sturdy, well-built look and includes a built-in stand, magnetic back mount, and nice carrying case. Even the battery is included. The lines also appear to be well made and are a good length. I like the built-in mechanical locking system that prevents the electrodes from being incorrectly connected for the measurement. My only complaint (losing a star) relates to the instructions. You are not entirely clear; manageable, but could be better. It was also difficult to figure out how/where to put the battery. I tested the meter against some known AC and DC voltages, resistance and continuity. Also checked the temp sensor. Everything I tested seemed to work fine. Pretty good multimeter with lots of features.
