As other reviewers have pointed out, if you need a 5 minute timer, don't buy it. I thought I'd give it a try, maybe I'll have better luck than others. But not at this point. They look cute but cannot be used as a timer. The one labeled 5 minutes lasted 10 minutes 19 seconds on one side and 10 minutes 55 seconds on the other. Other timers labeled 10, 15, 30 minutes work better on one side and worse on the other. Sand stuck there, which had to be shaken up several times. I believe there are small bumps inside the glass that keep the sand from falling off. UPDATE: I have started returning the item. Revain informed me UPS would pick it up within 24 hours but after waiting at home for 5 days (many appointments rescheduled to stay at home due to Revain stating an adult had to be present to receive UPS ), no one came, no calls and no explanation. So I contacted Revain support (online chat), the staff created another pickup request and informed me that the UPS would not arrive within the next 5-7 days and promised me they would call before they arrived . But no calls, they suddenly showed up two days later. Okay, I was home, but I was in the middle of my online meeting (had to pause the meeting and open the door). It was received on September 28th and UPS tracking status showed Revain received it on September 30th, but after 14 days my Revain status still showed 'Refund Initiated' and no money was placed in the 'Gift Card Account' displayed what was promised to me. within 3-5 days" and was insisted on by the original Revain customer service rep I chatted with because he/she couldn't bear to chat with me. The messages during the chat were very unprofessional. So had to I contacted Revain again and found out that they can process the refund instantly and the money can appear in the account within 3 hours, then why did I have to work so hard and so hard to get these "sloths" my family has been with prime numbers for almost 10 years now this time i am very disappointed with the experience.
