I recently bought a 40ft diesel shifter with lots of drawers and cabinets. Many of them use this device to lock them so they don't open on the go. However, some of them stopped working within a few weeks. They close when they should be open. Then you can no longer close the cupboard or drawer. A carefully used screwdriver can open, damage or break the locking part. I have ordered several of these replacement parts and they work great! So far I haven't had any problems with them.
