This didn't work for us as a viable V6-V10 adapter.
I have returned this for a refund. I found the adapter too tight for our old V6 attachments. Also, the red button didn't 'snap' into the new V10, meaning you have to hold the adapter tightly to make sure it doesn't fall out of the Dyson. Also note that this only applies to non-electric attachments.
