Review on 🧺 The Laundress - Darks Detergent 33.3 fl oz, Preserves Color & Fights Stains, Allergen-Free Dark Clothes Laundry Detergent, 64 Washes by Mike Bray

I love this item. Yes, it's expensive, but unlike grocery stamps, I use Le Blanc and Laundress for almost all of our laundries. A small amount is enough because you don't have to use as many products as food stamps (unless you buy highly concentrated products). At least that's how I adjusted (rationalized) to the higher prices. It also works in HE washing machines and leaves no residue inside. I'm taking off a star because the liquid is very thick for this product. Not so, by the way, for their other formulations. So much so that not everything spills out of the dispenser on our front-loading LG washing machine. After noticing a couple of times that most of the detergent was still in the dispenser after the clothes dried and put away, I began troubleshooting the issue. I tried diluting it for a while which wasn't a good idea and ended up just pouring it in the tub which isn't perfect but it works. We mainly wear dark clothes, so this material is used a lot. So many detergents contain bleach that bleaches dark clothes, so we might want to enhance the colour/appearance of our jeans, t-shirts etc with a detergent designed for dark clothes (no added bleach). Laundress for Darks has been our favorite for about 3 years and we have no complaints. We don't mind the aroma, but we usually do an extra rinse so none of us find it overwhelming. I'm like the other reviewer who prefers not to use detergent instead of perfume. We don't get very dirty in our home, so basically we want a product that will retain fibers and color, and also remove odors, dirt and the occasional spill of mustard or toothpaste. :-) The laundress for the dark is doing her job. That's why we keep buying. If Le Blanc had a dark wash we would probably use it as we have for years and we have used it for years on the rest of our bedding, sheets, towels and clothing.
