Bose cases are absolutely awful, they fade and turn a horrible yellow-green color after a short while. I wanted a simple protective bumper that also looks good. It helps. I have a black one and it looks really good on the black Bose Soundlink. It also fits the charger. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little more comfortable. The lower areas of the bumper are very thin and tend to slip. I don't think the manufacturer could do anything about it due to the shape of the Soundlink itself and the layout of the buttons and ports while leaving the option to lean on the charger. I compensate by lifting it by the sides with just two hands. It's a small adjustment, but for the price, it's totally worth it.
