I installed this mass air flow sensor because it was fairly cheap and I thought it would be a good investment because it was a new part and it was listed on my repair. Manual as one of the things that can cause the car to work poorly. The car (Mitsubishi 3000GT 1995) started running worse after I installed it. I took the car to a Mitsubishi dealer for diagnostics and the only thing they could tell me was that they had problems with the aftermarket airflow sensors on this car model as well as a few others.
