Review on 📀 Enhanced LG DN898 DVD Player with 1080p Upconversion by John Bailey

I think the name of the review speaks for itself. I saw some conflicting reviews on this item when I bought it, but I honestly thought it would last at least a year or two considering how little use I've made of it. I think since I bought it in July 2009 I've played about 6-7 DVDs on it. One night while watching a movie it just froze. I thought it might be a rented DVD so I put in a brand new DVD. The door closed, I heard it rotate for 30 seconds and then an error message appeared. I cleaned the lens, tried 3 more times, the result is the same. Since when are DVD players disposable in 5 months? Take Sony!
