Review on Trimmer Philips BT1216 Series 1000 by Aneta Patryk (Anetka ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but you can find a better one.

I bought this trimmer to trim the stubble on my chin and around my mouth, because I forgot my regular trimmer (also Philips) in the country after the New Year holidays. Therefore, it was necessary to buy urgently and I understood that this was a temporary "substitution". This trimmer does the job. But with reservations. For example, it was not possible to choose the length of bristles that I personally needed with the attached nozzles. Only one of the four included attachments fit me, but even that turned out to be too short for me. The other three nozzles leave too much length, so I can't use them at all. I don't really understand who they are for. For some bearded men? Of the pros - simplicity, price, and the battery lasts for a long time. But if this was my first trimmer, then I would prefer to pay 1.5-2 thousand extra and buy a model in which the bristle length can be adjusted using a wheel in 0.5 mm increments. In general - an absolutely ordinary device, nothing special, but nothing bad either. Therefore a 3 star rating.

Pros
  • 1. Price. 2. Performs its function well - gently and safely equalizes the bristles. 3. Holds a charge for a long time
Cons
  • 1. Only one of the four nozzles leaves an acceptable bristle length for me, while it is a bit short. The other three nozzles leave too much length, so I can't use them at all. I don’t quite understand who they are for, for real bearded men? 2. It is difficult to turn on, with effort you need to move the ON button. 3. Really vibrates and buzzes a lot. But for the sake of truth - this does not affect the quality of shaving, no twitching of hairs or skin damage occurs because of this, i. E. everything is absolutely safe. But it's just unpleasant that the device in your hands vibrates and buzzes so much. 4. No indication that charging is complete. Not critical, basically.
