If there were negative stars it would be correct. We installed this filter into the water supply of our entire house on 02/28/17. On the second day, my wife complained of dizziness and nausea, which I didn't attach much importance to because there were all sorts of "bugs" running around. We both noticed that our skin was a bit dry after showering that evening. On the third day she still felt the same, maybe a little worse, but after our shower that evening our skin was terribly dry and felt like sea water after a day's sunburn. Day 4 I started to feel just like my wife and my skin burned like a chemical burn after showering all over my body (especially sensitive areas including around my eyes and in my ears) that evening. I didn't sleep that night! Luckily I had the next day off. In the morning I removed the filter and replaced it with a charcoal filter, drained the water heater and flushed all the plumbing in our house. After a midday shower, the burn had subsided, thank God, but it still hurt in sensitive areas for a day. Two days after changing the filter and drinking a lot of water that didn't pass through that filter, we both stopped feeling dizzy and weak.
