These cards are of good weight and shuffle. They're just too slippery - if you take the whole deck to pass to the next person for shuffling, they'll easily explode out of your hand. Images and dots didn't fade or chip when playing: (We tried another brand of plastic cards that had more texture and the dots/back were on that texture - paint stains were on our hands.) A few commenters mentioned that cards in swapping sides of a tote bag: Take a thin piece of packing foam from one of your supplies - maybe 1/8 inch thick? Cut it to fit in the box. Works perfectly.
