Very good sharpener. Made in Germany, blades made of German steel. Uses a two stage system to create a very long pencil point. Slot #1 is used to cut most of the wood and expose the neck. Slot #2 is then used to grind the exposed graphite and shape it into a nice pointed tip. That's the problem. The 2nd slot needs to be redesigned to have a longer entrance to allow the pencil to have some support to line up properly with the blade. In the current implementation, the graphite open length is not natively supported, which means the user has to guess the correct angle of attack at which the stylus should be inserted. If the channel were longer, the pin would have the right amount of support and set the right angle. After some trimming of the graphite, the wood of the pencil tip will fit properly in the channel.
