Initial Rating (Applicable to Altura products ONLY): Good things first: The best and most important thing about this strap is its durability. I have every confidence that even with the heaviest body/lens configurations, it won't let you down. Now for the bad (which isn't that bad. Please read): The strap is great overall, but I personally don't like the included baseplate. General. It has a raised ring for attaching a shoulder strap, which is fine if needed, but makes it difficult to place the camera on a table. I ended up buying a QR flat plate with a built in strap loop and attached it to it. It's very convenient for me. I fully understand the complaints that you can't easily access the camera controls when you're wearing them tightly. Is that so. But I still prefer to wear mine very loose (I just bend my arm to "tighten" it when needed) so it doesn't bother me. Part of the strap appears to be a LITTLE. relax yourself. I've been fine so far, but a little glue would fix it forever. Let's see if that becomes necessary, random adjustments will do for now.
