I bought the first one in January and it worked so well we bought a second one in March to keep in another car. I drive a Fiat and my friend drives a Ford and the clip fits perfectly on both seat belt holders. It's very safe as our dog likes to pull on it to get as close to us as possible in the front seat. It never comes loose on its own and always keeps it secure in the back seat where it's safest. However, this allows him to move around easily on the back seat – he can still look out the windows and drive in the sun. Definitely recommend. It is very easy to adjust for car and dog, giving you the perfect length.
