The number plate bracket that came with my trailer broke leaving a sign on the ground. This mount is just the right size and will most likely last a lot longer (forever?). However, it's tilted and I'm not sure why. Should it be tilted towards the rear of the trailer when installed, or tilted back towards the front of the trailer? I don't understand why it's curved like that in the first place. Oh, and I added some washers because the nuts were a little bigger than the slots. However, this is not a problem.
