Wow! game changer! I've been fine with the basic crimping tool I've had for the past few years, but lately I've been using crimp beads that are smaller than crimp tubes. Pressing in the crimping device to secure the beads, especially when the ribbing is firmly clamped between fragile beads, required careful, lengthy and tedious maneuvering. In addition, the old tool did not always reliably secure the crimp. I used the new crimping tool on two projects today and knew right away that it would cut my crimping time by a third from what it used to be. Surprisingly, most of the time savings come from being able to use the tool as precision pliers. If you decide you need to use pliers (again!) before you're ready to use the crimping tool, there's no longer a need to put down the crimping tool and your work and hunt for pliers. Another time saver A special feature for me is the fact that for some reason I didn't mishap with my swabs today. Each clip held the beading wire securely in place, just like I intended. And I haven't had any crimp-related failures that could have been a waste of time. So this tool is really a game changer.
