With an expensive GPS module, there is no way to easily remove it when you get out of the car. This device attracts a thief because you have to completely remove the device from the windshield or dashboard mount every time you get out of the car, which is inconvenient. Also, the power cord is too short. I need to plug my GPS module into the console outlet and the power cord for this unit is too short for it. I sent the device back.
