When this type of light first came out it was single mode. ON/OFF only. Now for some reason they think we need all three, five or seven modes. I mainly use two settings, on/off. When it is "Low", you can use it to save battery. Why can't these manufacturers get it? Nobody needs more than one on/off switch. Every time you use it, it becomes a hassle to switch. I tend to buy single mode devices but it's an insult to charge more for them when you can find them. I had to create some non-standard blocks myself for better quality and higher performance blocks. I shouldn't have done that. I should be able to find decent singlemode devices.
