This adapter board is very well designed and the small form factor is welcome. However, the included hardware for securing one end of the M.2 drive is a must for me. There is a lot of freedom in aligning the hardware between the adapter card mounting hole and the notch on the M.2 drive. And as far as complex issues go, there's no indication in this paragraph of the "right" way to install mounting hardware. Another complaint I have is that the PCI brackets have been painted black instead of being left as bare metal. I don't know if this paint is electrically conductive or not, but it seems to me that the paint can prevent the card from being grounded to the PC case (perhaps leaving the only grounding path through the PCIe slot).
