With a cover they keep tanks like new and prevent aluminum tanks from rubbing on fiberglass boats. They also make them more visible underwater by adding lots of color to alum tanks, especially the yellow mesh. Remember to leave it slightly over the tank's shoulder to make it much easier for the BC straps to fall over the tank. I gave it less than 5 stars because the mesh is slightly larger than previous cases I've bought. On the other hand, it's a smaller mesh than I've seen on others - I won't be buying these. This is the best I could find.
