First impression: Looks good, lettering is clear and concise. The settings are easily accessible and customizable with a guide to deciphering the menu. The IPB-16S was used to boil 10 gallons of water with a 110V 1650W heating element. I used a few settings en route to 212 degrees to see if it held the temperature at each setting and it went pretty well. Adjusting the temperature settings was easy: long press and then up or down to the desired value. When I got to the boil, the power level was manually adjusted to keep the cooking at the lowest possible power. When cooking, I had to calibrate the sensor by 3 degrees to get the reading to match the boiling temperature. good price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if the need arises. I will update this when I am more familiar with this device.
