Wow. These measuring cups really measure! I poured in 1/3 cup flour and was pretty sure it was 1/3 cup but being a pessimist I put the measured flour on the counter, ordered another set of measuring cups and waited. Another set arrived a week later (already less than the delivery time of this set, which I received with Prime the next day). I poured 1/3 cup into another glass and by god it was exactly the same! I've done this science experiment with all the other sizes, and the results have been amazing: these measuring cups measure a hell of a lot of things. Water, flour (bleached and unbleached!), salt, sugar, etc. Early one morning, while I was about to surprise her, I thought I could toss a ball and measured out 1/2 cup of oatmeal, a banana, and a cup of black coffee ( My doctor said I need to eat healthier, especially in the mornings, to keep down IBS, I've really struggled with this since I turned 40) and BAM! 1/2 cup oats! Exactly! Couldn't be happier with those bad butt gauges. I can't review the shovels yet, I'm still waiting for the competition to come to compare and test them. I'm sure they'll do just as well as their big brothers, but for now I'll reserve judgment to be fair.
