I got these bags for free to try and hoped they were comparable to my brands. I liked that they were better for the earth, but found they weren't for me. I didn't like the top being so open as it didn't hold up well on my bin. But I was able to get it to work. I also didn't like that these packages didn't have a way to close them. I prefer bags with drawstrings or at least bags that have the ends cut off so I can tie them shut. This is very important in hot climates so nothing gets inside. In the past, when I've used bags without this feature, they've offered twist ties to help close them. After all, strength is not for me. When removed from the trash can, the bag could not hold the trash and burst completely, causing all the trash to fall to the ground. I need something that can hold a lot of trash... with kids and dogs we rotate almost every day. I think they can be good with some small improvements but not for me.
