Not all plugs are pink. I still have a large black piece sticking out in the middle (Ford 2008 Escape). Pink is actually 2 shades of pink in a checkerboard pattern. Upon receipt both plastic blade guards were partially detached from the blade. This left creases in the rubber part of the "napkin". On the first wiper test, the driver's side left a huge sheet of water on the way up and two lines on the way down (where rubber meets plastic). We moved the driver's side to the passenger's side (the wiper rotated 180 degrees) and the stripe moved to the top of the window. Wiper test 2, driver and passenger brushes swapped, did the same. It became clearer on the way down. I thought they would smooth out with use but they don't. They're not bad enough for me to take them off. It's just a little annoying. Huge splashes of water on the way up and snakes on the way down. I don't recommend them. UPDATE 5/4/17: I've lost all hope for these wipers. They no longer rub well on the way up or down. They need to be replaced. Bought late February; Installed in March; Dead in early May.
