Review on Canon EOS EF USM Lens 22-55mm f/4.0-5.6 by Brent Saake
Very good for a hobbyist like me
Although this is primarily a wide angle lens, I use it 9 times out of 10. The results are excellent. Even the portraits are good. I only use my other lens (70-210mm Sigma) when I really need to zoom in a bit. AF is very fast. Noise? I have not heard anything. Very good value for money. I will upgrade to Canon 28-105/f3.5-4.5 but I will not sell it - I will use wide angle.

Sharpe and very light great travel lens. Using on my Sony a7 with a adaptor .
