I'm not a nail technician; I'm actually a newbie. I recently learned how to make polygel and I really like the look of my nails. The gel polish is a great match for the look I'm looking for and the variety of shades in this set allows for many unique looks. If I want to do a stylish French manicure, this set has everything you need. The color of the jelly changes from translucent to opaque in bright sunlight, which is very pleasant to watch. If you like a hardened, thick nail, you can probably build more than you need with this kit (I prefer to use builder gel, but it works in the end). Tip, be aware that glitter gels are quite thick and will settle out, creating areas of slightly uneven thickness. I prefer to use loose glitter for ombre and in the future I will probably use gel glitter for full glitter coverage. I suspect some of this is operator error, which is why I'm not deducting any stars from my rating. I will come back if I have more comments to add in the future.
