I compare the size and fit with what I usually use. I usually use a Filtrete Allergen 1200 (MPR) filter. I immediately noticed that the Nordic Pure's construction is stronger, not as fragile as the Filtrete, but I don't see that as a big issue. I have a sizing problem, Nordic Pure 19.5 x 19.5, my oven is 20 x 20 x 1. The filter is 19 3/4" X 19 3/4", as a rule of thumb your filter should be small enough, to play around with to fit it without binding. In my case the Nordic Pure is barely big enough not to fall into the oven, up to half an inch either way - that's a lot of unprotected area, I personally undersized it. The purpose of a filter is to filter the air flowing through the stove, but inevitably there will be a gap and the air will pass unfiltered. Before purchasing, you can check the number of games you have in your filter and then measure if it works for you.
