Review on 🦜 Volkman Seed Avian Science Super Macaw 4lb: Ultimate bird nutrition for vibrant macaws by Cindy Lloyd

I read the description and thought this might be a good seed supplement for my bird who eats mainly fruits/vegetables and supplements. I do not recommend feeding macaws this food alone, they need more nutrients than it can provide. If you like raw peanuts, almonds, and walnuts and want that to be half of your meal, you might be lucky. However, once removed, there are mostly sunflowers, pumpkin seeds and safflower along with a small amount of dried fruit which my bird eats with a small amount of additional smaller seeds which the macaw ignores. To get the most out of this feed we removed the large seeds and used them as treats and rewards, and with the other half we gave a small amount sprinkled with fruit.
