Review on ACCUSPLIT AX850 15-Inch Lane Timer/Pace Clock in Blue: Efficient Tracking Solution for Athletes by Chris Pettway

Perfect for a small pool

My outdoor pool clock lost the minute hand after damaging beach balls. I bought this for personal use as I do a lot of straight 5k and 10k swims and really need the minute hand to track laps. My pool manager is kind enough to let me tuck it under a closet, but it's small enough to carry around if needed. That 14-inch face is clearly visible (through the eyes of a 68-year-old with glasses) on flip turns from up to 10 meters above the water, so I try to use the first three or four lanes. So far it works perfectly. It is convenient that there is a button to turn off the watch without removing the battery. Well built and seems to have pretty good splash resistance. A panel on the bottom that can be pulled out to widen the base and help with wind resistance is a plus for me when I'm outside. I recommend for those who can get by with smaller hours.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power
