This is exactly what I was looking for in my new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX400V Wi-Fi digital camera! Just got it today so it's not live yet but as far as setting up my new camera it's perfect. I wanted something very compact for travel but with decent padding. I recently bought this camera to replace my DSLR and travel lenses. I have a tulip hood and reusable mount on the bottom of the camera and a wrist strap. It's very dense, which some might not like, but I prefer it as it makes things more durable. If I removed some fasteners or rotated the tulip hood it would be easier to slide it in and out. I suppose it could use more padding, but then it would be bulkier. It's very compact and unobtrusive. I will update over time if there are any issues.
