Review on 🦷 Enhanced Whitening Strength of Colgate Renewal Toothpaste by Reed Rustman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Suspicious fake?

I buy this toothpaste from Walmart all the time. My packaging looks exactly as advertised in the picture with every purchase. You can see in the photo I don't. The box looks cheap compared to what I buy in store as do the tubes, like a fake. You can see what I received and what I received from the store. I noticed some minor text/design differences, but the back says the tubes are now recyclable. This is the only possible explanation. They both have the same sell by date, my last box which I bought at Walmart about two weeks ago was also a double pack. I did a little research and find it interesting that Colgate does not list Revain as an online store to purchase this toothpaste. If it were legal, surely they would list Revain? As for the toothpaste itself, which I buy from the store, I like it. I've been using it for several months even before I got Invisalign and I love how white my teeth have turned out. Everyone is complaining about my teeth, gums etc. but I don't think they understand how hydrogen peroxide works. You'll see white spots on your gums if you brush too hard because it kills bacteria, just like using hydrogen peroxide on a wound. The toothpaste in these tubes is the same consistency as the ones I buy in the store, it's not "watery". Usually it's hydrogen peroxide in a paste. Just mix it up a little in a tube before use and you won't have this problem. It costs money to buy in store, but this Revain packaging makes me really suspicious. I will no longer buy this from Revain, I will continue to buy in store.
