Bag works great! Be sure to keep keys, phone and other valuables dry. However, the sling backpack didn't work either. It was okay for a light splash, but when the unthinkable happened and I slipped and fell into a two foot pool of water, the backpack filled with water. It wasn't submerged in water, only for 30-40 seconds. Luckily I put everything in ziplock bags to keep everything dry, but the bag still absorbed water. I would not recommend using this bag as a means of keeping things dry. The belt pouch was ideal for keeping items dry and protected from moisture. He survived when my daughter was thrown out of the tube and submerged her under water for a few minutes. There is no water at all. I would suggest buying two fanny packs rather than a sling/bumpack set.
