Review on DHT Electronics Coaxial Female Connector by Brian Olson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The money is gone. fits fiber optic cable

Edit: After writing the review below, I rechecked the threads and compared them to a known good connector, only to find that the DHT adapter had the wrong thread pitch. I've attached an image showing a good connector (Silver) versus a DHT adapter (Yellow). As you can see the threads are not nested as they should be if they had the same thread pitch. Having spent half my life in the automotive industry, I know that tool making mistakes happen. But the fact that this part (and certainly many others) passed the quality test makes it absolutely certain that they were shipped with the full knowledge that they were not fit for the US market. I sent back free shipping so let's see how it goes. Well, you're out of luck, with all the happy customers, some others won't be as happy. I have no idea how well this adapter works electrically as it has bad threads that even prevent the coax from screwing into the adapter. To be fair it started spinning but got stuck at the beginning of the 3rd stream. The male part of the coaxial cable barely entered the hole in the female adapter, so the signal was spiked. The slightest movement breaks the connection. The coaxial cable does not span at least 1/4 inch, maybe more. It's not a happy situation, I don't pay to ship the $6 part back to the seller and I don't register streams to remove whatever is in the streams. will only remove the chrome and encourage corrosion, not what you want in an antenna. It seems to me that the threads were probably dirty when they went to the chromators. Worse when trying to write this product review, I bought from DHT. I have noticed that the picture shown when writing this review appears to be different than what I purchased and wrote, as if the part came from a "communications store", whoever it is. The DHT part is a chassis mount with two opposite levels of threads to keep it from rotating when you tighten the coax cable. I don't know if this is a scam set up by Revain or DHT to prevent me from being a "verified" buyer or something else. The item in this picture as I write it looks better than the one I bought. Note: It has no thread flats.
