To be honest…. My goodness, why did I order this. I need BAD storage space in my office, but it's a bit scary. So it has a bar that you attach to one side of the monitor and then adjust and tighten the back to stay level. I put my heavy bronze elephant down to see if it lasts and lasts. It might be fine for some households, but I'm scratching my head wondering if I'm too nervous to put things on it or if it's unnecessary because I almost have to stand to get it. Did you also think that one day it would fall and damage my monitor? Probably very small. So overall the price is low. If you don't like clutter and have something like a modem, then this is probably a good idea. Best for colleges, probably!
