Whoever said this item is waterproof, it's worth something! It's not even waterproof! It was raining last night when I picked him up from school and it was raining when we left the building. The jacket soaked up the water like crazy. Absolutely not waterproof. I bought this item and it barely withstands the rain that falls in the bay here. Stay away from this jacket if you are looking for a waterproof jacket. It's a decent size and thin. If I hadn't written his name on it I would definitely come back and get something else!
