I was a bit skeptical at first as I had never heard of LumaBella. However, I took a chance as it had good reviews and I'm so glad I did! I have curly hair that I straighten or color every day and I have to say that keratin plates really make a difference in both how straight/smooth they make my hair and how healthy my hair stays despite daily straightening. which could also be due to the thermal sensors. To be honest I don't even feel the need for a keratin treatment as my hair stays smooth even in summer humidity. Plates pass smoothly and straighten in one pass, they don't jam at all. This straightener is way better than the more expensive Sedu straightener I've had before and have been using it daily for the past two months with no problems. I would definitely recommend this. You don't have to spend more than $150 for a more well-known brand!
