Didn't work

Not sure if I'm misusing it but I put my hair through the hook and tried to close it but it wouldn't close all the way. I tried to close the hook in different ways but now it is stuck and the other one does the same. I had to use my fingers to pull through the hair for my crocheted twists. Would not recommend this product.
