This scraper is for acrylic aquariums. I won't mention the brand, but my aquarium won't let you remove the lid completely - there are different slots for things like lights, filters, thermometers, etc. This affects how well this brush works. With such an aquarium, you cannot clean the aquarium where two pieces of acrylic meet. It's great for an open tank or one that can expose the corners of the tank, but I need a short-handled brush (or a clean rag) to get into the corners of the tank. This is NOT a brush bug that works great, it depends on how your aquarium is made. It may also not be suitable for small aquariums due to the long handle - you may need a shorter brush for a 5 gallon aquarium.
