Wish I found this sooner

I made the mistake of applying acrylic to my ninth reef aquarium. Since I always have sand in my aquarium (I think tanks look terrible without sand), I get scratches all the time, even with plastic edge scrapers. This is ideal for the corners forming coral and seaweed without scratching them.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Fits

Good for fish and aquatic animals

This was a replacement for one that I used for 10-12 years before being stored for 8-9 years and then used again recently after I bought it set up old Tropiquarium 88. The old scrubber has lost most of its "grip" but the new one requires much less effort. I'm glad I replaced it. I don't give 5 stars for anything less than absolute perfection, but it's close.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not all will fit

ABSOLUTELY REIGN Acrylic

$800 aquarium featuring a brand new misty movement on the front with little to no printing (because I wanted to see what it would remove without sanding it like I do with my mitten got to). THREE passes forward and backward - that's all. The scraper was also first thoroughly washed; actually soaked because it stank like it had been soaked in turpentine. I tried to take photos but it didn't work. angry about it.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Secret

Great for cleaning out my large turtle tank!

Makes cleaning turtle tanks easier. It's such a hassle to clean my large 55 gallon tank and it usually requires a brush and step stool to keep me able to reach. I still couldn't clean it this way because I just couldn't reach and brush hard enough. I can effectively clean 95% of the tank with this scrubber. It's a lot easier this way and my cleaning doesn't bother the turtles.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No power

Recommended scraper!

This is my second purchase of this scraper. The first lasted several years. We have a fairly deep acrylic tank and would have liked a few inches more length, but overall I'm very happy with this product. The tool is nicely shaped and it's easy to apply sufficient cleaning pressure to the tank walls. I use it for stubborn green algae that my otocinclus can't help with. The price of this scraper ($6.59 on Prime as of this writing) is very reasonable.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Much

Item arrived second hand for seaweed scraper

I ordered both glass and acrylic seaweed scrapers and both arrived second hand in a box, API guide/carton shown on the product image did not arrive attached to the packaging. Handles on both scrapers, but it just dangled in the box, he couldn't unscrew it on his own. The white deposit on the acrylic scraper was not white but had a yellow tint. I didn't want to ask for an exchange. I have just soaked both in hot water to clean them well and kill any bacteria on them, the pads seem to beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Volume

This scraper is for acrylic aquariums. I won't mention the brand, but my aquarium won't let you remove the lid completely - there are different slots for things like lights, filters, thermometers, etc. This affects how well this brush works. With such an aquarium, you cannot clean the aquarium where two pieces of acrylic meet. It's great for an open tank or one that can expose the corners of the tank, but I need a short-handled brush (or a clean rag) to get into the corners of the tank. This is

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
