For many years I mainly wore Sperry Topsider shoes. Including this model to be worn with our laceless. Build quality is drastically reduced compared to the Sperry, especially on these non-boots. The sole of these shoes came off only slightly. I asked Sperry (the parent company of Wolverine Worldwide, a footwear conglomerate) to replace them. The bigger problem is that Sperry ditches most "baggy" sneakers. I can no longer find this halyard model in any width other than NOS at some wholesalers. I don't know what went wrong with Sperry, who has done very well in wide E-width shoes in the past.
