The product snapped onto my laptop without any issues and seems secure. However, after just a couple of weeks, the finish seems to be wearing or smudging. I have not spilled anything or touched it with any chemicals from what I can recall. After it started looking like this, I rubbed it with a damp Microsoft cloth (after removing it from the laptop) and there was no change. It looks like the color is being rubbed off, perhaps as I place it into my bag. I didn’t keep the packaging so I am not sure if I can return it. I have not tried to reach out to customer service. I may just cover it with pretty stickers if I can’t get a replacement.
