Effective as a collar
I have had two different collars in the past. One traditional and one with a bar. I am 62 years old and have had difficulty closing the buckles on a traditional collar and have experience with the buckle coming loose. This collar works great! I have much more control over the martingale collar. With my box mix it's 50-50 shots of how she reacts to other dogs she doesn't know on our outings and this collar provides the level of control needed to keep her in check when she becomes aroused by an encounter. another dog on the trail.
