This is my second tire compressor test. I first ordered "Suaoki - Mini Air Compressor 120psi". Not liking this compressor I decided to find a new one and this time my choice fell on JACO SmartPro Digital Tire Inflator. After almost 5 months and many inflated car tires, I'm ready to share my opinion on this little tire changer. This time I've decided to just point out the pros and cons of this compressor and not overload my review with numbers and procedures. etc. So here they are: Pros: - Compact and lightweight. My car is a Mazda 2 (2015) and I need to make good use of its rather limited trunk (only 280 litres). Although the Jaco pump is not the smallest air compressor on the market, it is still a very compact unit. Also, it comes with a great carry/storage bag so fitting it perfectly in my trunk's tool bag is no problem. - Full of great features! The ability to set the desired inflation value (the pump will turn off after a while when the specified value is reached) as well as remember this value for further inflation is a great feature. The backlight of the digital pressure gauge is very convenient at night. Well, the built-in flashlight and SOS signal are good additions too - Quiet and almost non-vibrating during operation! This is definitely the quietest tire air compressor I have ever heard. This is very important if you don't want to disturb your ears or your neighbors early in the morning. ;) As for the vibration - you can easily hold it in your hand if it works. - pump speed. It's just totally acceptable! Well, my old pump is definitely faster, but it's big (takes up at least four times the space in my car's trunk) and noisy. It's also missing one of the great features the Jaco pump offers - an air hose and length of 12v cable. Both are good enough for small and family cars (tested on the Mazda 6). I'm pretty sure it's also suitable for medium-sized SUVs. Quality construction. The compressor housing, air hose, 12v cable and even the storage bag are made from high quality materials that have virtually no chemical smell! (It only took a while for the bag to lose its original smell.) - Very cheap price! - Jaco support! While I didn't have time to ask their tech support (The compressor has been working fine since the purchase. Knock on wood...), the way they followed my order - they asked if I received the package whether I have or not, I need help and then ask my opinion etc. makes me feel that I will get their answer and support when needed. Also, their website and YouTube channel are pretty informative. Cons(?): Well, maybe its accuracy... But to be honest, those are the only "cons" I've found so far, should be treated more as specifics. The accuracy of this inflator in automatic mode is +/- 1psi and sometimes 1.5psi (tested with a fairly accurate digital pressure gauge). But a) +/- 1.0 psi accuracy. Inches are listed in the compressor manual and b) that +/- 1.0psi (or even 1.5psi) is perfectly fine when it comes to car tire pressure. For example, if I'm not mistaken, tire pressure can change significantly depending on ambient temperature - at least a 1psi difference (for small and medium tires) for every 10 degrees of ambient temperature difference. For example, you measure the tire pressure in the morning or in the afternoon. So I just "turned off" the perfectionist mode in my head, and now I can live with that +/- 1psi accuracy. :) Conclusion: Great tire pump and absolutely recommendable for small to medium-sized cars! Incidentally, I didn't just "buy it again", as they say, but have already bought a second pump for my brother. ;)
